Bhatti has said that Government is fully committed to extend state of the art
facilities for promoting sports and education for girls students which is aimed
to meet the gigantic socio economic challenges of the modern era. She made
these remarks while speaking as a chief guest at a joint function of annual
sports day and a prize distribution ceremony for awarding prizes among the
winners of extracurricular activities.

Samiullah, Kaleemullah, Muteeullah and Dr. Atif Bashir in the past while Umer
Bhutta and Muhammad Rashid of Bahawalpur are representing Pakistan's national
hockey team", She noted.

culture which is vital for the balanced, productive and enlightened socialization
of the younger generation. She further said that Government has undertaking
various initiatives to streamline the education system in public sector by
constructing class rooms, multipurpose halls and IT labs.

General Wild life and Parks Punjab Khalid Ayaz Khan has said that black buck
and Chankara trophy hunting is a major initiative to promote legal hunting in
the Punjab province which would not only provide the systematic hunting
facilities but would also ensure the protection of precious wild life on sustainable
basis. He made these remarks while giving briefing to the media persons at Laal
Suhanra, Bahawalpur.

Arts Council has started the registration process of all artists which is aimed
to promote art and literature in this culturally enriched area of Bahawalpur
region. Under this registration process all artisans, musicians, singers, choreographers,
handicrafts, painters, artists of film, theatre and radio and all the fields
pertaining to art and culture have been entitled to be registered.
The
artists may get registered by providing two passport size photographs and a
copy of CNIC at Bahawalpur Arts Council Rasheedia Auditorium, Model Town 'A'
Muhammad Bin Qasim road, Bahawalpur from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
This
project is designed both to promote art and culture and to extend financial
assistance to the artists under the new initiative of Government of Punjab.

Black buck and Chinkara Trophy Hunting Programme 2016 is underway successfully at Lal
Sohanra (Bahawalpur-Cholistan) and hunters have hunted 6 Black bucks and 8
Chinkara deers till date.
This was stated by the Director General Wildlife & Parks Punjab Khalid
Ayyaz Khan while talking to media persons here on Tuesday. He said Trophy
Hunting programme is aimed at promoting sport hunting within the legal limits
besides creating awareness about importance of wildlife. He said that the
Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department made elaborated arrangements this year
while rent a jeep facility was also made available on the spot for those
hunters who do not have a four by four vehicle.
Throwing light on arrangements, Khalid Ayaz said that 11 hunters have enjoyed
this programme till date, in which Sohaib Javed hunted a 26 inch trophy of
Black buck, Ali Ahsen 29 inch, Usman Ahsen two trophies of 27 and 28 inches.
While Abbas Mukhtar hunted a 26.5 inches trophy and Amin Rahman a 32 inches
trophy of Black buck. While in Chinkara category, Fakhar Abbas Bosan from
Multan hunted a 13 inch trophy, Major ® Habib Khanzada two trophies of 12.6
inch each, Nabeel Rauf Khan Sherwani hunted 11.5 inch, Rehman Nasim 10 inch and
12 inch while Imran Saeed hunted a 13.2 inch trophy of Chinkara.
