                                BAHAWALPUR(PR)The role of poet is vital in promoting creative narrative and to accelerate the pace of spiritual and intellectual development of the socio cultural infrastructure of society. This was stated by the speakers during a poetic recital session organize by Art Council Bahawalpur held at Rashidia Auditorium.

                                Prominent poet and scholar Dr. Farhat Abbas was the chief guest. Prof. Dr. Aslam Adeeb presided over the session while Prof. Dr. Muzammil Naz Bhatti and Prof. Dr. Nusrullah Khan Nasir were the guest of honor on this occasion.

                                Prominent poets recited their poetic work. The poets included: Dr. Farhat Abbas; Dr. Nusrallah Khan Nasir; Dr. Nawaz Kawish; Zeeshan Athar; Jahangir Mukhlis; Mashhood Hassan Rizvi; Mohsim Dost; Khuda Bakhsh; Khadim Hussain Makhfi; Dewana Baloch; Asad Baloch.

                                The poetic recital session was attended by Prominent personalities which include: Deputy Director Public Relations Nasir Hameed; Information officer Abid Hassan Rizvi; Islam Zamir; Khalid Zamir; Ms Sumaira Danish; Danish Hameed Advocate ; Mrs. Farhat Abbas; Ms Iffat Zaki, Khalid Mehmood; Zeeshan Athar; Ms Khadija; Meerab Rana; Dewana Baloch and others.Resident Director Arts Council thanked the participants.
