                               BAHAWALPUR(PR) Culture consultant Information, & Culture department, Govt. of Punjab Maria Gulraiz has said that Govt. Punjab is  fully committed to both to preserve & promote the cultural heritage by formulating a cultural a cultural road map by seeking intellectual input from wide ranging representative opinion leader representing regional culture. She made these remarks while presiding over a consultative session held in this regard at Rashidia auditorium Bahawalpur.

                                The cultural session was attended by Resident Director Bahawalpur Arts Council, Rana Ajaz Mahmood, Dr. Nusrullah Khan Nasir, Syed Tabish Alvari, Majeed Gill, Malik Habib-ullah Bhutta, Zeeshan Athar, Parveen Atta Malik, Dr. Muzammil Bhatti, Syed Shahood Hassan Rizvi, Amjad Shani, Tariq Bobby, Mukhtar Anjum, Prof. Dr. Wajid Khan, Prof. Dr. Shahzad Rana & others.

                                The participants proposed various proposals which include: - Modern & state of the art cultural superstructure; Cultural exchange program; Promoting regional culture heritage; Construction residential colonies & providing stipend to the deserving artists. They also highly appreciated the initiative of the Punjab Govt. to launch a wide ranging constructive process in devising policy frame work to promote the splendid glorious culture of our mother land.
