65^th meeting of the syndicate of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR(PR)The 65^th meeting of the syndicate of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur held under the chair of Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor at Abbasia Campus. It was the seventh meeting of the syndicate held during the last two years. The members reviewed various academic, administrative and financial matters and fully endorsed the step taken by the university administration under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor. The syndicate approved the handing over of Bio Diversity Park near Fort Derawar to the Islamia University of Bahawalpur from Cholistan Development Authority. The university flag design was also approved by the syndicate members. It is important to mention that IUB had no official flag since it was charted as a university. On direction of the Vice Chancellor, the university administration proposed a flag design and submitted to syndicate for approval. The recommendations of the recent selection board were also approved. The implementation on decisions taken during previous syndicate meetings were also discussed besides reviewing various administrative and financial matters of faculty members and employees.
