37 Madni Dasterkhawns has been functionalized to provide Aftari and Meal to the deserving fast observers at District Bahawalpur:DC Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR(PR)Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal has said that as many as 37 Madni Dasterkhawns has been functionalized to provide Aftari and Meal to the deserving fast observers at District Bahawalpur. He made these remarks during a surprise visit to inspect the functioning of the Madni Dasterkhawans established at Ashraf Sugar Mills, Bahawalpur. During his visit Deputy Commissioner Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal had Aftari with the fast observers who were present at the Madni Dasterkhawans. Deputy Commissioner inspected the various sections of the Madeni Dasterkhawnas to ensure the supply of high quality food stuff at the Madni Dasterkhawans.

                        Deputy Commissioner Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal directed the concerned Officers to mobilize all available resources to maintain the high quality arrangements to ensure the provision of decent food stuff at comfortable and conducive environment.

“To maximize the availability of edibles and Aftari food stuff to the large number of fast observers, philanthropists should play their role with missionary zeal”, Deputy Commissioner Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal urged.

                        During his visit Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by the Assistant Commissioner Sadar Husnain Khalid Sanpal.

BAHAWALPUR(PR)Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal paid a surprise visit at Ramzan Bazars at Khanqah Sharif and Mubarakpur in District Bahawalpur, yesterday. During his visit Deputy Commissioner thoroughly inspected various stalls of food items which include:- vegetables, fruits, meat, grocery, soft drinks, ghee, oil, sugar, flour, pulses, gram flour. He also inspected price lists and directed that all available resources must be mobilized to ensure the implementation of the price lists to protect the economic rights of the consumers.

            Deputy Commissioner Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal directed doctors and paramedics to pay special attention to provide medical aid to the consumers during their visits at the Ramzan Bazars.

“All necessary medicines and operational medical staff was performing their duties with zeal and zest”, Deputy Commissioner was briefed.

Deputy Commissioner weighted the flour bag and checked its quality. He also visited separate counters established for senior citizens and women at the Ramzan Bazar. During his visit Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Bahawalpur Sadar Husnain Khalid Sanpal and Assistant Commissioner Ahmadpur East Abdul Rauf Mahar.

  BAHAWALPUR(PR)  Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal paid a visit at vegetables and fruits market Bahawalpur early in the morning,yesterday. He was accompanied by District Police Officer Bahawalpur Dr. Muhammad Akhter Abbas. During his visit Deputy Commissioner monitored the auction process of vegetables and fruits. During the auction process while talking to the consumers, Deputy Commissioner assured them that government was fully committed to provide high quality vegetables and fruits at the affordable prices during the holy month of Ramzan.
