BAHAWALPUR(By Sumaira Danish)Bahawalpur police registered 70 cases and arrested 76 suspects during June under the operation Raddul Fasaad.
On directions of Government of Punjab, Bahawalpur police during the month of June initiated crackdown throughout the district under operation Raddul Fasaad. It registered 41 cases of illegal weapons and arrested 41 accused. For violation of Temporary Residence Act, 11 cases were registered and 18 suspects involved in these violations were arrested.
The police registered 16 cases and arrested 16 accused for violating the Loudspeaker Act while in violation of Punjab Security Ordinance, 2 cases were registered.

Outlaw was injured with the firing of his own accomplice

BAHAWALNAGAR(By Iqra Aziz)An outlaw was injured with the firing of his own accomplices, while another escaped during crossfire with police in Bahawalnagar.

Firing  took place in the limits of Minchinabad
BAHAWALNAGAR(By Iqra Aziz)According to FIR, ASI Muhammad Ali and ASI Shafique along with other cops were returning to Ghummandpur police station on official vehicle, escorting an accused Ahmad Yar alias Bao, resident of Aatar Singh Sani. The outlaw was arrested by police few days ago in many cases registered against him.
As the police team reached a bridge over Habibwah Canal, three unidentified accused ambushed the police vehicle. They started straight firing on police and got released Ahmad Yar from the police custody. The outlaws tried to escape but in the meanwhile, the police resorted to aerial firing. The outlaws retaliated with firing but injured Ahmad Yard critically and fled the scene, leaving their injured accomplice behind. The police arrested the injured accused and registered a case against him under sections 353,324,186,427,224,225,34.

Angry Citizens  tortures ‘thief’ to death

GUJRANWALA(By Web Desk)Citizens tortured to death an allegedly motorcycle thief while police registered a case against five persons here on Thursday.
According to police sources, citizens caught an alleged thief identified as Shahid “red handed stealing a vehicle” in the Civil Lines area. The angry citizens tortured brutally the alleged thief due which his condition turned worst. Shahid was shifted to DHQ hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to injuries. The Civil Lines Police have registered a case against Umer Abdullah, Irfan Ali, Mudassar Yasin , Shahid and Sarwar and started investigations.
