Monsoon Plantation Ceremony Organized By Botanical Society Govt.

BAHAWALPUR (PR) Monsoon Plantation ceremony was held Yesterday. Ceremony started with the recitation of holy
verses from Quran-e-Pak. by Dr. Tasneem Khatoon, Chairperson the department of chemistry
Govt. Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur.The Honourable Chief Guest Worthy
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Afza inaugurated the ceremony by planting fix
in ground located in front of VC office. Registrar Prof. Naseem Khalid, Deans of
all faculties, Chairpersons and all the honorable staff of GSCWU planted
different varieties of plants in stadium ground. 13 plant species were planted
which included shady trees, ornamental plants, fruit trees, medicinal plants
and creepers were planted in the campus.
