Project Formulation Workshop was held at Government Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR(PR)Two days Project Formulation Workshop was held at GSCWU BWP. The said training workshop was jointly organized by Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), GSCWU BWP.The Trainers and resource persons (Vice ChancellorDr. ShafiqurRehmanKohat University of Science and Technology) and Dr. MirzaHabib Ali, Director Research Support, PSF) delivered sessions on key areas of writing high quality research proposals for funding. Mr. Israr Khan, Scientific Officer, was the focal person from PSF whereas, Dr. SaimaAnjum, Assistant Professor / Director ORIC was the focal person from GSCWU BWP.Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf appreciated the effort of management of GSCWU BWP for hosting this workshop, which is joint effort of Pakistan Science Foundation and GSCWU BWP.

On this occasion Prof. Dr. TalatAfza, The Worthy Vice Chancellor GSCWU Bahawalpur and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, Chairman, Pakistan Science Foundation was the Chief Guest of closing ceremony. During closing ceremony, Prof. Dr. TalatAfza extended her gratitude to Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, Chairman PSF for arranging such useful training workshop at GSCWU BWP which will help young researchers to hunt funding for their research projects. In this workshop Forty five learned faculty members/researchers of GSCWU BWP from the disciplines of Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics and Computer Science attended the training workshop. After successful completion of this training workshop, all participants were awarded certificates whereas; the resource persons were awarded souvenirs by Worthy Vice Chancellor of GSCWU Bahawalpur Prof. DrTalatAfza.
