THE LEGEND & A PERSON OF COMMITMENT CH. MUHAMMAD ASHRAF (LATE), THE  FAMOUS, PROMINENT AND LEADING INDUSTRIALIST.

THE FOUNDER OF ASHRAF SUGAR MILL BAHAWALPUR & FATHER OF LIVING LEGEND MR.ZAKA ASHRAF, FAMOUS PAKISTANI EXECUTIVE.

DUE TO  HARDWORK & ENDURENESS IN PLANS OF CHAUDHARY MUHAMMAD ASHRAF (LATE) & BY ESTABLISHING OF ASHRAF SUGAR MILL IN BAHAWALPUR, THE REGULAR STARTING OF INDUSTRY CAME INTO EXISTENCE IN THIS REGION.

Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf (late) was born in the suburban’s of Mandi Bahauddin like Chelianwala in 1926.  The name of his father was Chaudhary Khan Muhammad and he was related to the profession of Agriculture.  Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf (late) spent his childhood in Mandi Bahauddin and got his basic education there  too.
By nature his personality from the childhood, was dedicated by himself for the achievement of landmarks & he was very ambitious to do something special in his life, that's why when he stepped-into his practical life,  he preferred Businesses as a career instead of it's native occupation Agriculture.  But unfortunately at that time, in Chelianwala there were no businesses opportunities,  might not to be available.  For the sake of achieving this goal he went to Jammu and Kashmir & started his business there. In very short period, by his hard work,  diligence and honesty he transmitted his name on the  vantage point on the sky of business. Meanwhile he  has linked with the construction sector and made his own construction company. 
Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf (late) was farsighted man, his company constructed many  buildings in country wide, which were recognized & admired by that time’s Government as well as people.  In the meantime, our beloved Pakistan came into existence, being a  new country, the new paths of construction and development were opened for everyone.  It was speciality of Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf (late) that he was always looked  or keep eye on things for  the best  for future.  For this purpose he went to Hyderabad Sindh, in Hyderabad, he made an Organization in the name of Khan Muhammad & Co., for construction purpose, this organization played an important role in the construction & development of Sindh Province, for example Roads, Bridges, Schools, Hospitals and especially at the time of Construction of Guddu Barrage.  Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf had a great fortune, he successfully completed one by one every project which was taken by him  & ultimately he discovered and capture the paths of development.
After achieving the height of success in the field of construction he had focused the field of Coal Mines in Hyderabad Sindh and established an Organization in the name of H.M.Iqbal Coal Mines Ltd, which is still in the prominent position by maintaining his standard of quality and hard work.  Allah  (SWT) honoured him with respect, good reputation and wealth that's why he became the most prominent Industrialist of Pakistan.  
His fabulous political career was started from Hyderabad, on recognition of his leadership capabilities and patriotism and on the Prime Minister of that era Mr.Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s strong insistence he joined PPP and elected Senator.  From the platform of politics he had set an extra ordinary examples of Public Services. 
To acknowledge the services of Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf towards people,   famous &  senior Politician Mr.Peer Pagara said that Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf is the bridge between Sindh & Punjab.  After achieving above mentioned significant landmarks,   again in 1981 he concentrated all his abilities towards privatized industries by Government Sector like SUGAR MILLS. He filled the tender and finally Bahawalpur Sugar Mill was in his lap.   There was only a Boundary Wall was exist in the name of Sugar Mill except a nameplate was affixed for BAHAWALPUR SUGAR MILL. 
As usual,  again Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf (late) stood with the Labour  throughout day & night & look after all departments of mill personally and record time of just 10 months he made possible to complete the work of mill and start production of Sugar successfully.  This landmark of Chaudhary  Muhammad Ashraf can never be forgotten by the people of Bahawalpur.  After the death of Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf, the name of Bahawalpur Sugar Mill was changed to ASHRAF SUGAR MILL to pay befitting homage to it's founder.
If we give a look in a glance, the  extra ordinary achievements of Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf’s life, one thing found very common in all success,  he always believe to serve the humanity with his work, experience, wealth and his kind actions.  Due to extreme hard work & confidence on his abilities to accept challenges in every step of life he brought Industrial revolution in the area of Bahawalpur by reinstatement of   Bahawalpur Sugar Mill. By the Sugar Mill in this area the  new paths of development and income were opened for the people of Bahawalpur region. Prosperity of people as well as region,  ultimately development of Pakistan is real happiness and inner satisfaction of Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf.
At last due to constant hard work a sudden heart attack was occurred and on 6th November 1983 he  has been died and leave this mortal world, but his good deeds, love and respect to elders, he was fiduciary of high traditions and values of a good human being besides he was habitual of regular prayer & fasting.

His 57 years old life has the great example of human services love and patriotism and his life will always be a passionate way for future generations.
