PEC has granted accreditation to students of BSc Electronics of IUB
BAHAWALPUR(PR)Pakistan Engineering Council has granted accreditation to students of BSc Electronics Engineering sessions 2013-2017 and 2014-2018 of University College of Engineering and Technology, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Other three Engineering programmes of the IUB Engineering College including Electrical, Telecom and Computer System are already accredited from Pakistan Engineering Council. It is important to mention that university Engineering College accreditation from PEC had become a turbulent matter since its startup in 1999. However, Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor took this matter on priority and during last three years all the engineering programmes have been accredited from the PEC. Further the building of Civil Engineering department is also under construction and classes of BSc Civil Engineering are expected to start during coming academic year.  The Engineering College is also going to start PhD classes from next academic session and will be pioneer in Southern Punjab to starts PhD programmes in Engineering. The education circles have lauded efforts of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq for raising academic standards and initiating new engineering programmes at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
