ENGLISH AND URDU DECLAMATION CONTEST HELD

BAHAWALPUR(PR)First round of 20^th Inter Universities Declamation Contest for the award of AllamaIqbal Shield has been arranged jointly by English and Urdu Debating Society, GSCWU. Registrar Prof. Naseem Akhtar was the chief guest and Mrs, SuriyaTalatDean Faculty of Arts GSCWU joined as the guest of honour on this event. The program started with the recitation of the holy Quran followed by Naat. There were total 20 participants. The English Declamation Contest was judged by Mrs. Noor Fatima GSCWU, Mrs. Nazma Govt. Dubai Mahal College for Women, Mrs. Musfira Khalid Govt. College for Women, Ahmadpur. Prof. Dr. MuzamilBhatti I.U.B, Mrs.NuzatJabeen GSCWU and Dr. Asma Rani GSCWUjudged the Urdu Declamation Contest. On this Declamation contest Noreen Fatima got 1^st, Sajida Allah Bakhsh got 2^nd and FariaArooj got 3^rd Position in English Declamation contest. In second Phase of Urdu Declamation Mehreen Jahangir got 1^st, RabiaRiaz got 2^ndand Ayesha Jabbar got 3^rd position in Urdu Declamation. At the end of this event Cash prizes were distributed among the winners by the Chief Guest of this event.
