BAHAWALPUR(PR)Commissioner
Bahawalpur Division Saqib Zafar has directed the District Coordination Officers
of the three districts of Bahawalpur Division to sharpen their vigil for rapid computerization
of revenue record which would ensure to streamline the revenue record on modern
scientific lines which would protect economic rights of the citizens. He issued
these directions while presiding over a video link conference held at his
conference room to review the ongoing land record management information
system. The meeting was attended by DCO Bahawalpur Dr. Ehtisham
Anwer Mahaar, Additional Commissioner Consolidation Saqib Ali Ateel, Additional
Commissioner Coordination Syed Waseem Hassan and through video link:- DCO Rahim
Yar Khan Zafar Iqbal, DCO Bahawalnagar and other officers and officials of the
concerned departments.
The
meeting was briefed that as many as 6441cases of land mutation, 728 cases of
assign share of revenue and 371 cases of missing record of land mutation were
resolved in the three districts of Bahawalpur division during the last month.
The
revenue cases decided in the three districts of Bahawalpur division: District
Bahawapur, District Bahawalnagar and District Rahim Yar Khan include:- 202
cases of assign share of revenue, 2815 cases of land mutation and 257 cases of
missing documents of land mutation at district Bahawalpur, 117 cases of assign
share of revenue, 1242 cases of land mutation and 113 cases of missing
documents of land mutation at district Rahim Yar Khan and 409 cases of assign share
of revenue and 2384 cases of land mutation at district Bahawalnagar.
Commissioner
Bahawalpur Division Saqib Zafar directed the concerned officials of land record
management information system to extend decent and comfortable sitting
facilities and take special measures to provide drinking water to the visitors
at land record management information centers in the three districts of the
Bahawalpur Division.
"All
available resources should be put into place to effectively operationalize the
one window operation at these centers to ensure state of the art facilities to
the visitors", Commissioner Bahawalpur division Saqib Zafar directed.
Meeting of district emergency board and district disaster management authority

Officer Coordination Amjad Bashir has emphasized the need to ensure fool proof
security arrangements through revitalizing inter-departmental close
coordination during Aashura Moharram. He made these remarks while presiding
over a meeting of district emergency board and district disaster management
authority at the committee room of DCO Bahawapur. The meeting was
attended by Divisional Emergency Officer rescue 1122 Dr. Asif Rahim Channer,
Assistant Commissioners:- Rao Tasleem Akhter, Husnain Khalid Sanpaal, officials
of:- Pak Army, Rangers, Police department,
Health department, Civil Defence Department, Tehsil Municipal Administration
and Auqaaf Department.
He
directed the officers of Tehsil Municipal Administration to pay special attention
to take adequate measures to augment and repair the roads of the routes of the
Azadari Processions. All encroachments in the vicinity of Azadari Majalis and
Azadari Processions should immediately be removed along-with making
arrangements to ensure un-interrupted supply of electricity for Azadari
Processions and Majalis-e-Aza.
The
meeting was briefed that Ambulances would remain operationalize having doctors
and paramedical staff with the Azadari Processions. Besides, the meeting was
also apprised of that officers of civil defence and volunteers would also
perform their duties along-with the contingent of Police. The meeting was
