District Judiciary Bahawalpur has finalized the various programs regarding  "sesquicentennial celebrations" of the Lahore High Court Lahore in district Bahawalpur

               BAHAWALPUR(PR) District Judiciary Bahawalpur has finalized the various programs in connection with "sesquicentennial celebrations" of the Lahore High Court Lahore in district Bahawalpur. This was stated by senior civil judge Alam Sher in a circular issued.

                According to program: - A Judicial conference, over the topic of "upholding rule of law" would be held at 3:00 PM on 12^th of November at the auditorium of Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur. A cricket match would be played between district judiciary and district bar Bahawalpur at 10:00 AM on 13^th of November at dring stadium Bahawalpur. Similarly, a delegation of school children would visit district courts at 9:30 AM on 14^th of November.

MOS Baleegh-ur-Rehman inaugurated 3 developmental projects

               BAHAWALPUR(PR) Minister of State for higher education and interiors Engineer Baleegh-ur-Rehman inaugurated 3 developmental projects completed with an allocation of Rs. 5.3 million, here at various places of district Bahawalpur. Minister of State Engineer Baleegh-ur-Rehman inaugurated a project of provision of electricity, sewerage and a laying of soling completed with development fund amounting to Rs. 3.5 million at Basti Kacholian, 10/BC and Dera Bakha. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Chairman Union council Asad Rasool, Vice Chairman Tariq Waheed, Mian Shahid Iqbal, Rao Abdul Waheed, Faheem Qureshi, Shahid Abdullah Chaudhry, Rao Rizwan and a large number of citizens.Later, Minister of State Engineer Baleegh-ur-Rehman inaugurated a newly completed sewerage and soling project with the allocation of Rs. 1 million and 0.8 million respectively.

                While speaking on the occasion Minister of State Baleegh-ur-Rehman said that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif an extensive network of pro people projects are underway which are aimed to extend decent and socio economic cover to the people.

3 day Books & Magazines exhibition in Central Library Bahawalpur

                BAHAWALPUR(PR) A three day Books & Magazines exhibition in connection with the birth anniversary of Poet Philosopher Dr. Allama Muhamamd Iqbal has kicked off at Central Library Bahawalpur. Chief Librarian Rana Javed Iqbal inaugurated the event.
