              BAHAWALPUR(PR)  District and Session Judge Bahawalpur Rehan Bashir has said that the sesquicentennial celebrations of Lahore High Court Lahore are aimed to revive and strengthen the splendid and glorious traditions of administering justice to the common people by adhering to the highest values of judicial norms and practices. These judicial norms are key to uphold the supremacy of law to establish a rule based polity to ensure the establishment of peaceful and developed society. He made these remarks while addressing as a Chief Guest at a judicial conference held at the auditorium of Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Bahawalpur. The judicial conference was attended by Justice (R) Farrukh Mahmood, Justice (R) Riaz-ud-din Khan, Principal Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Ajlal Haider Rizvi, District Coordination Officer Dr. Ehtisham Anwer Mahar, District Police Officer Ashfaq Ahmad Khan, Additional Registrar Lahore High Court Bahawalpur Bench Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwer, Additional District and Session Judge Naveed Bari, Senior Civil Judge Alim Sher, Civil Judge Masood Ahmad Faridi, Civil Judge Rana Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Civil Judge Ayaz Mahmood, Civil Judge Farooq Ahmad, Civil Judge Ahmad Badar Munir, Civil Judge Salah-ud-din yasir, Civil Judge Muhammad Rafiq, Civil Judge Alim Zia, Civil Judge Shakeel Ahmad, Civil Judge Muhammad Shakeel Ashraf, Civil Judge Fakhar Bashir, President Lahore High Court Bar association Bahawalpur bench Nawazish Ali Peerzada, President District Bar Association Tayyab Zameer Khan, Presidents of various Bar Councils, General Secretaries, Lawyers community, Civil Society representatives and other officers and officials of the concerned departments.
                District and Session Judge Bahawalpur Rehan Bashir further said that the guiding principles of the supremacy of law are enshrined both in our Deen-e-Mubeen and the Constitution of Pakistan.
                "The Uswa-e-Hasanah (PBUH) is the unprecedented and shining example of promoting the rule of law for the whole humanity", He noted.
                District and Session Judge further said that sense of deprivation and socio cultural deviation breeds in those societies which do not adhere to the supremacy of law and constitution. He said that the judicial organ of the state plays the vital role to uphold the supremacy of law and administering justice to the people.
                District and Session Judge Rehan Bashir in his address maintained that Lahore High Court Lahore's sesquicentennial celebrations would serve to raise public awareness about the 150 years long shining services of the Lahore High Court Lahore to administer justice for the common people of the province.
                Senior Civil Judge Bahawalpur Alim Sher, Head of law department Islamia University of Bahawalpur Dr. Razia Musarrat, Civil Judge Afaf Aslam and civil society representative Jamshaid Karim Khan also addressed the judicial conference and highlighted the various aspects of supremacy of law for maintaining a peaceful and prosperous society. They also paid rich tribute to the 150 years services of the Lahore High Court for ensuring the supremacy of law and administering justice.

MOS Baleegh-ur-Rehman paid a visit at Borstle Institute and Juvenile Jail Bahawalpur
                BAHAWALPUR(PR) Minister of State for higher education and interiors Engineer Baleegh-ur-Rehman paid a visit at Borstle Institute and Juvenile Jail Bahawalpur. A smartly turned out contingent of police officials presented guard of honor to the Minister of State Engineer Baleegh-ur-Rehman on his arrival to Borstle Institute and Juvenile Jail Bahawalpur. Minister of State Baleegh-ur-Rehman gave away sympathetic hearing to the grievance and problems of the inmates. Moreover he watched the gymnastic competition among the inmates on this occasion. Later, Minister of State Engineer Baleegh-ur-Rehman inspected the barracks of inmate children, Jail hospital, kitchen of inmates, school, library and expressed his satisfaction about cleanliness and tidiness conditions.
Khadim-e-Punjab rural roads program would usher a new era of socio economic change: Iqbal Channar

              BAHAWALPUR(PR)  Provincial Minister for Cooperative Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar has said that Khadim-e-Punjab rural roads program would usher a new era of socio economic change which would bring development and prosperity for billions of rural residents of 36 districts of Punjab and the construction of 3 thousand feet long rural road project completed with an amount of Rs. 5 million at Basti Papa chishti, Lal Suhanra, District Bahawalpur is the practical reflection of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif's attaching special significance to the development of southern Punjab. He made these remarks while inaugurating the constructed road network at Basti Papa Chishti, Lal Suhanra, District Bahawalpur The inaugural ceremony was attended by Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channar, Chairman union council Chaudhry Muhammad Anwer Goraiya, Bilal Baloch, Asad Rasool and a large number of citizens.

Meeting of District narcotics control committee
                BAHAWALPUR(PR) A meeting of District narcotics control committee would be held at 11:00 AM on 16th of November at the conference room of DCO Office Bahawalpur. District Officer Coordination would preside over the meeting.
