BAHAWALPUR(PR)Provincial Minister for Cooperative Malik Muhammad
Iqbal Channar has said that complete adherence to the teachings of Holy Prophet
(PBUH) is the eternal guidance to resolve all spiritual, social and civilizational
conflicts faced by the humanity. He made these remarks while addressing as a
chief guest at Zonal Seerat (PBUH) conference entitled "Interfaith Harmony
& teachings of Islam" held at District Council Hall, organized by
Department of Religious affairs AUQAF Bahawalpur.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Administrator
AUQAF Punjab Nawazish Ali, Abdul Razzaq Shaiq, Allama Fayyaz Ahmad Awaisi,
Professor Aon Muhammad Saeedi, Father Iftikhar Moon, Administrator AUQAF Ayaz
Mahmood Lashari, District Manager AUQAF and a large number of citizens related
to different walks of life.
"Seerat-e-Tayyaba (PBUH) stands as beacon of
light which has been guiding humanity for the last 1400 years", Provincial
Minister Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar noted.
He further said that Islam preaches peace and tolerance
which is the cordial principle of the philosophical and spiritual teachings of
Deen-e-Mubeen.
"Interfaith harmony also forms the basic
structural component of the teachings of Islam", Provincial Minister Malik
Muhammad Iqbal Channar maintained.
The conference was also addressed by Abdul Razzaq
Shaiq, Professor Aon Muhammad Saeedi, Father Iftikhar Moon, Allama Fayyaz Ahmad
Awaisi, Syed Asad Madni, Molana Saleem Ahmad, Molana Shaikh Abdul Lateef and
Father Abbas Kanju. The speakers highlighted the interfaith harmony, Islamic
education and the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Akhter has said that Government of Punjab has made comprehensive arrangements
to provide maximum facilities to the Christian community on the eve of
Christmas at Bahawalpur. He made these remarks while presiding over a meeting
to finalize the arrangements of holding Christmas Bazar on the eve of Christmas
at Bahawalpur. The meeting was attended by President of trading
unions Hafiz Muhammad Younis, Tehsildar Saleh Ahmad Ashraf, Area Manager Utility
store Muhammad Asif Gill, Curator Bahawalpur Zoo Khursheed Qaisrani, Secretary
Market committee, SDO WAPDA Muhammad Aslam Kamal, Officers of TMA Bahawalpur
city and other officers and officials of the concerned departments.
"Christmas Bazar would be established from 22nd
to 24th of December at Bahawalpur Church Model Town 'A' Bahawalpur
where all essential items including kitchen items, sweets, shoes, garments, vegetables,
fruits, poultry, Mutton and beef would be available at concessionary rates to
the Christian community", Assistant Commissioner Bahawalpur city Rao
Tasleem Akhter noted.
He further said that fool proof security arrangements
would also be extended to all churches and a special traffic plan for smooth
running of traffic would also be devised on this occasion. Assistant
Commissioner Rao Tasleem Akhter further said that the free entry for the
children of less than 10 years of age would be available at Bahawalpur zoo on
25th of December.

posts except Assistant Education Officer BPS-16 and Elementary School educator
(Science & Math) BPS-9 would be held according to the schedule at
