BAHAWALPUR(PR) Judge of anti terrorist court Bahawalpur Khalid
Arshad has awarded 24 years of vigorous imprisonment forfeited property and has
imposed fine to the tune of Rs. 1 lac upon six accused which include:- Master
Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Shakeel, Shabbir Ahmad, Muhammad Usman, Sultan
Shahab-ud-Din and Wajid Rasheed. In case of the failure to pay the fine they
will have to undergo six months more imprisonment, the verdict says.
According to the prosecution the six persons had
planted a bomb near Darbar Hussain Khanpur on 16th of January 2012.
The bomb was neutralized by the concerned department. Police had registered a
criminal case against the accused.
