Eid Meelad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated with religious fervor at Bahawalpur
BAHAWALPUR(By our Staff Reporter& PR) Eid Meelad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated with
religious fervor at Bahawalpur. A large number of Eid Meelad-un-Nabi (PBUH)
processions were held out. The main Eid Meelad-un-Nabi (PBUH) procession
started from Meelad chowk. The procession was lead by Provincial Minister for
cooperative Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar. The procession passed through its
traditional route which includes: - Shikarpuri Gate, Giri Ganj Bazar, Shahi
Bazar, Farid Gate, Circular road and ended at Markazi Eid Gaah. Various smaller
processions joint with the main procession. The prominent Eid Meelad-un-Nabi
(PBUH) processions include: - Jama Masjid Alfarooq, Tehreek Nizam-e-Mustafa
(PBUH), Jama Manzoor-ul-Mashaikh Sabiria wa Binaat-ul-Islam and Markazi
Meelad-e-Mustafa (PBUH) committee.
Religious scholars while addressing the processions
said that the holy teachings of our beloved prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) are
blessings for the whole humanity and civilizational and spiritual peace is
linked with adheres to Seerat-e-Tayyiba (PBUH). Assistant Commissioner
Bahawalpur City Rao Tasleem Akhter monitored the proceedings of the Eid
Meelad-un-Nabi (PBUH) processions.
