Eid Meelad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was observed with religious fervor in district Bahawalpur

               BAHAWALPUR(By our Staff Reporter) Eid Meelad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was observed with religious fervor in district Bahawalpur. All major public and private buildings were illuminated which include:- Commissioner House, District and Session Judge House, DCO House, DPO House, Vice Chancellor House, GOC House, Bahawal Victoria Hospital, Quaid-e-Azam Medical College and Tehsil Municipal administration offices. Besides, all the historical gates which include: - Farid Gate, Derawari Gate, Ahmadpuri Gate, Shikarpuri Gate, Multani Gate and Mori Gate were also decorated and illuminated which attracted a large number of devotees and visitors. Special cleanliness measurements were undertaken and police devised special traffic plan to regulate further smooth running of traffic. Fool proof security arrangements were also made and special police mobiles extended security cover to the Eid Meelad-un-Nabi (PBUH) processions.
