Muhammad Iqbal Channar has said that Government of Punjab Scholarship Project for brilliant
and deserving students in the shape of PEEF has massive endowment fund
amounting to Rs. 17 billion would revolutionize our educational landscape. He
made these remarks while talking to a delegation of notables of Bahawalpur City
at his residence. ''As many as one lac and 50 thousand students studying in
various disciplines have been awarded scholarships amounting to Rs. 7 billion
and five hundred millions through PEEF in the Punjab Province", minister
maintained.
Provincial Minister co-operative
further said that scholarship to the tune of Rs. 405.7 million to as many as
4232 PEEF scholars would be provided in Bahawalpur division during the
financial year 2016-17.
"PEEF
is an innovative educational intervention which has enabled the talented &
deserving students through a purely merit based system which stands operationalize
on the state of art operational system", minister maintained.
