Dear Readers today I want to grab your attention towards the real hero/lion  of our Punjab Province,  Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sahrif, the Chief Minister, Punjab, who is dynamic, vibrant, trust-worthy,  people-friendly,  intelligent and dignified personality.    

All the time he think about the welfare of people.  During his regime there are several improvements and developments occurred in Punjab province, whereas he has fully focused to the area of Southern Punjab which is the most backward area of Punjab.  But under his loyal and wise leadership,  developmental works worth of billions in south Punjab are ongoing successfully.

This great personality has recently been visited Bahawalpur which is very fruitful for Bahawalpur Division as well as Southern Punjab.  Highlights are as under:-

CM says government is working on several mega developmental projects for uplift of the people. Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony of  dualization of ninety eight  kilometers long Lodhran, Khanewal, highway road in Lodhran, he said several more development projects will soon be started in southern Punjab.  He said the project will be completed with a cost of twenty two billion rupees . 

Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that a mega program for potable water would also be started soon in 37 Tehsils in Southern Punjab and for this  billions of rupees will be spent on the project.   He announced  to provide twenty air conditioned  buses  for the people of Lodhran which is a gift for people of Lodhran from government.

The Chief Minster also announced a special development package worth Rs 2.5 billion for Lodhran District, CM said that although in past there were Presidents, Prime Ministers and Governors had been appointed from South Punjab, but they had not even thought of helping the people of southern Punjab by using special packages or grants.  The Chief Minister said that nobody had ever thought that mega projects should be carried out in south Punjab , but our Federal and Provincial Governments had carried out a series of mega projects in the region.

He said that the Multan Metro Bus Project had been completed at a cost of Rs 28 billion due to which the people of South Punjab were able to use modern traveling facilities and labourers, farmers, widows, orphans, students, teachers, lawyers, and clerks now travel using these modern facilities,  adding that a sub-campus of the agriculture university will be established in Lodhran and a flyover on Lodhran-Jalalpur railway crossing will be completed at a cost of Rs 1.1 billion.

The chief minister said that a 30 km long Lodhran-Kehror Pacca dual way road will also be constructed at a cost of Rs 600 million he  also announced the construction of an 18 km long road from Dunyapur to Mailsi.  He said that he would try to ensure completion of the road from Khanewal to Lodhran in 10 months instead of 12 months, adding that the 98 km long Lodhran-Khanewal Road at a cost of Rs 22 million will be presented for use by the people of South Punjab in ten months.

The chief minister said that he is very thankful to the people of Lodhran who had arrived at the public gathering in large numbers to make and successful his visit he expressed his very kind and emotional feeling for the people of Bahawalpur Division and he also speaks Saraiki language,  he also hoped that the people of Lodhran would be helpful to eliminate such political parties that are opponents of development and rejects the so called Lock downs or DHARNA parties besides the big sharks who have eaten the taxes for billions.

He said that in 2013 Nawaz Sharif had promised to end load-shedding and this promise was nearing materialization. People still remember when they were losing jobs due to the shortage of electricity, industry and agriculture were at the verge of destruction, and economic activities had almost halted.  Shahbaz Sharif said that the Punjab government would protect the rights of farmers in the wheat purchase process and we will buy as much wheat as the farmers want to sell. He said that Lodhran is a small District, therefore the metro bus service cannot be launched there so 20 air-conditioned buses would be provided to the district.  The chief minister vowed to overcome the energy crisis by the end of the year and also announced that the PML-N would sweep the 2018 in general elections.

He also criticized  Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan for their comments regarding ‘conquering’ of Punjab and metro bus, and opposite political leaders respectively. He said that in his opinion a lot of change would be brought about under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.  He claimed that he had served the people honestly and established a network of uplift projects in south Punjab that would be completed in months instead of years.  He said that after four years, Imran Khan planned to introduce the metro bus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while he had earlier criticized the Punjab government for the same.

At last, In this context, I salute the Chief Minister Punjab Mr.Shahbaz Sharif that he is tirelessly working day & night for the betterment and welfare of people of Punjab and,  I, hope that Mr.Shahbaz Sharif will leave no stone un turned to make the province of Punjab "CORRUPTION FREE"  State or  PUNJAB THE PROGRESSIVE AND MODERN PROVINCE.

Now here I reiterate on the oldest demand on which he should take special interest i.e. construction & development of Bahawalpur city especially a fly-over which must be approved from the Bahawalpur Railway station to Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Railway station to reduce the pressure of heavy traffic in the city.
