BAHAWALPUR(PR)Federal Ministry of Information Broadcasting and National Heritage
organized a seminar at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur on Safer Charity
Practices.The speakers said that Haq Haqdar Tak is a very important and
essential campaign by the government. The critical nature of the message makes
it all the more necessary to spread it across country, and this purpose can be
best served by involving students in it. The seminar was part of a wider
outreach campaign to apprise people with exercising caution while donating. An introductory presentation on Safer Charity Practice was given by Mr.
Nabeel Imtiaz, on behalf of the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and
National Heritage. He highlighted the existing threats and the need for the
campaign to the audience. He thanked Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor,
the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Ghazi University Dera Ghazi Khan for
facilitating in organizing such a seminar of national importance. Towards the
end of the event, cash prizes and certificates were distributed among the winners
of essay and poster competitions. The winners of the poster competition
explained their themes and inspiration for their master pieces that won them a
huge round of applause from the audience.
