PhD scholar, Ms. Shagufta Zafar defended her PhD thesis

BAHAWAL PUR (PR) A PhD scholar, Ms. Shagufta Zafar, Department of Chemistry, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is  defended her PhD thesis yesterday in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus. Ms. Shagufta Zafar completed her research project under supervision of Prof. Dr. Latif Mirza, Department of Chemistry, IUB and the topic of her thesis is “Rice Husk as a Potentially Low Costbiosorbent for Heavy Metals.” Prof. Dr. Ijaz Ahmad Bhatti, Department of Chemistry, University of Agriculture Faisalabad and Dr. Muhammad Imran Din, Institute of Chemistry, University of Punjab Lahore will be the external examiners. Teachers, MPhil, PhD scholars attended the defense.

 

PhD Public Defence of Mr. Kafayatullah Khan will be held on Thursday 25^th May

BAHAWAL PUR (PR)PhD Public Defence of Mr. Kafayatullah Khan, an HEC Scholar will be held on Thursday 25^th May 2017 in the Department of English at 11:00 am. Mr. Khan completed his PhD research entitled: “Subaltern Agency in Paul Scott’s The Raj Quartet” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mamuna Ghani, Dean Faculty of Arts and Chairperson Department of English. Prof. Dr. Zia Ahmed, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan and Dr. Shahid Nawaz will grace the occasion as external examiners. Teachers, PhD and MPhil students and those who have special interest in the field of literature are welcome to attend the defence.
