PRIOR GREETINGS / WISHING EVERYONE THE BLESSINGS OF HOLY MONTH OF RAMAZAN UL MUBARAK.

THE ESTABLISHMENT OF "RAMAZAN BAZAARS" IS HIGHLY COMMENDABLE STEP TAKEN BY CHIEF MINISTER PUNJAB MIAN MUHAMMAD SHAHBAZ SHARIF.

TWELVE (12) "RAMAZAN BAZAARS" IN DISTRICT BAHAWALPUR WILL BE ESTABLISHED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB DURING THE HOLY MONTH TO FACILITATE THE PEOPLE.

ALL RELEVANT DEPARTMENTS ARE BOUND TO PLAY AN ACTIVE ROLE DURING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF "RAMAZAN BAZAARS" & MUST ENSURE THAT CONSUMABLE ITEMS SHOULD BE PROVIDED TO PEOPLE  ON CONTROL & APPROVED RATES.

Today dear readers I will discuss about the blessings of Ramazan for all of us, and in this respect Ramazan Bazaars which are going to be established in few days by the Government of Punjab to facilitate the public.

As this month is a very special month for the Muslims.  Fasting of Ramazan is one of the five pillars of Islam, mandatory upon all adolescents and adults who have the ability.   Ramazan is also the month in which the first revelation came to our Prophet Muhammad  (PBUH),  and thus is called the “Month of Quran” as the Holy QURAN was revealed in this month which is source of true guidance for all mankind.  During this month, there is a noticeable change occurred in people’s lives & behaviours as well as in society.  Spiritual reflection shown in everyone's 

behaviour whether man or woman, child or old.   Increased prayers of everyone besides reciting Quran Pak with zeal and zest & everywhere righteousness and piety in the skies is dominated.   Mostly people spend their money in Allah's way for needy peoples for their betterment in shape of their  "SADQAS & ZAKAT".

In this connection, for the facilitation of common people especially women, senior citizens and poor people in month of Ramazan Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Muhammad Shahbaz Sahrif who is a very dynamic, active, honest, people-friendly and vibrant  Chief Minister who believes in practical work instead of wasting time instead of high flown claims like other politicians. 

The vision of Ramazan Bazaars is also a major and positive thinking of Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif towards public for the purpose to provide commodities at lower and cheaper cost but with standard. Regarding this, he announced the formation of Ramazan Bazaars in all over the Punjab.  No doubt this initiative is a great gift for the poor and middle class people.

For this purpose Chief Minister advised to all elected public representatives and relevant departments/administrations that they will have to play an effective role for provision of daily use items at reasonable rates at these special Ramazan Bazaars. The rates of all food items should be displayed on digital boards in Ramazan Bazaars.  Price control magistrates should monitor the bazaars. It should be ensured that customers are provided all facilities and  Ramazan bazaars should be made attractive and clean. Adequate security arrangements should also be ensured. Police and volunteers should be posted at the bazaars, also  a fruit and vegetable fair price shop should also be established. 

In Ramazan bazaars, separate counters should be established for women and senior citizens. Availability of an ambulance and medicines along with doctors and paramedical staff should also be ensured, women police personnel should also be deployed at the bazaars with CC TV  Cameras should be installed with walk through gate. 

Steps must be taken  by the authorities to ensure that all the products are kept in a clean and hygienic atmosphere. In this regard the Bahawalpur Waste Management Company should perform its responsibilities at various places where these Bazaars will be functional i.e. at Model Bazar, Melay Wali Gali and Railway Road in Bahawalpur City.

In my opinion this vision / dream of Ramazan Bazaars of Hon'able Chief Minister's will not be fruitful/fulfilled until the Divisional Managements should not take active or practical parts instead of to complete paper work,  so that the people get maximum relief with this mega project.

In the end of this column I hope that all concerned departments will make this vision of Chief Minister Punjab successful in real manners.  May Almighty Allah bless our favourite Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif  who is an angel for our province. PAKISTAN ZINDABAD.
