Firing competition for students of Schools, Colleges and Universities was organized by HQ 26 Mech Div in line of civil military relationships, at Bahawalpur, on 28th April, 2017.Students of Sadiq Public School were also invited to participate in it. The event was categorized in four different categories to fire with MP 5-A2 and Air Gun. Ten girls and six boys participated.Category I was Intermediate level Boys.Category IV GirlsOn 2nd May 2017, the prize distribution ceremony for best fires was held at Div, Battle School HQ 26 Mech Div in Bahawalpur Garrison. It was attended by Prof. Nauman Ahmad Qureshi Principal Sadiq Public School as Honourable Guest, Maj. Muhammad Adeel Nawaz Satti Adjutant , Sadiq Public School Mr. Shahid Amin (Teacher), Mrs. Asma Riaz (Teacher), Drill Instructor Ahmad Ali along with 10 girls and 11 boys.
The following Students and persons were awarded with the souvenirs. Prof Nauman Ahmad Qureshi Honourable Principal, Hussain Ahmed 5555-I2C 1st Position (MP5-A2 Firing)
,Asad Ullah Mazari 6323-I1C 1st Position (Air Gun Firing),Umm-e-Aimen G1906-H1G 1st Position (MP5-A2 Firing),Ibad Ullah Kamran 7581-P7A 3rd Position (MP5-A2 Firing, Mahrukh Sana G1873-I1GC 3rd Position (MP5-A2 Firing).After prize distribution, the Chief Guest Maj. Gen Akhtar Nawaz GOC 26 Mech Div appreciated the efforts put in by the army, the students and the heads of the institutions to make it a success. In the end, Prof. Nauman Ahmad Qureshi Principal Sadiq Public School was especially invited to express his views followed by a group photo of distinguished guests and prize winners along with the Chief Guest and finally a lavish cup of tea.
