Ramzan Sasta Bazaar

Ramzan is the month of blessing, virtue and reward. So, we must take advantages of all of its blessings. In this month everyone wants to do good deeds and wants to serve humanity. Chief Minister’s sasta bazaar scheme is also an attempt for the betterment of people.

On the special orders of Chief Minister, Bahawalpur district government has established 12 Ramzan bazaars. Ramzan bazaars have been set up for providing special relief to the people during Ramzan.  The locations where the bazaars have been set up are: Model bazaar, Model air conditioned Ramzan bazaar, Railway station, Khanka Sharif, Mehmood park, Veterinary hospital road, Old hospital Vehari road, Old bus stand and Old TMA office. All are beautifully maintained, neat and clean and all facilities are providing for the general public. It is all due to the positive mentality and best policy of Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Shareef. At Tehsil level prices are being monitored regularly by assistant commissioner and action is being taken against profiteers. Vegetables and fruits are being sold at cheaper rates as compared to open market. Punjab government is giving a subsidy of 8 million rupees for maintaining the prices of edible items at cheaper rates. In Ramzan bazaars 10Kg flour bag is available in Rs 310. Similarly sugar, oil, pulses, gram, potato, onion, bitter guard, rice and all other items are available at reasonable prices. The prices of everything are pasted at prominent places so that everyone can get aware of them. The police have placed at ramzan bazaars for the safety of people. Doctors, pre medical staff and Ambulances are available all the time. Complaint cells have also been set up in ramzan bazaars that are regularly monitored by Punjab government. It is very important that every morning deputy commissioner and district police officer examine the prices of fruits and vegetables. 

In this blessed month, it becomes easier for Muslims to perform good needs. Government is showing its concern for the relief of general public. We must do cooperate with government in its advantageous step.
