1^ST three days National science conference on “sciences for the betterment of Humanity” arranged under Govt. Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur. A large number of students, researchers, scholars, renowned scientists from all over the country belongs to scientific departments attended the conference. Nations progress in the world that makes huge investment for the education of women. The difference between developed and developing countries is education. The main asset of the country in education. The director international for chemical and biological sciences university of Karachi Professor Dr. M. IqbalChoudhary has expressed his thoughts at the Govt. Sadiq College Women University as a chief guest and delivered a lecture on the topic of ”drug discovery from science with Benefit”. Before it voice chancellor Govt. Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur, Professor Dr. TalletAfza, addressed the conference by saying that today is the historical day, she further said that with the progress of science, new thinking and the new ideologies of Youth are connected. So by developing research methodology in scientific field. We can get progress. So with the help of the modern science, we can make better the human health and standard of life. So the arrangement of scientific conference in the Universities is the part of progress. She further says that arrival of scholars and researchers from all Provinces of Pakistan in Bahawalpur is a good step for development of science and hopeful that scientific articles will be helpful to brighten the scientific ways. On the 2nd day of the conference, renowned scholars, researchers, belonging to different department of Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology have presented their articles. Professor Dr. NavazTahir, Chairman of Physics department (University of Sargodha) has presented research article on the topic of “importance of small molecular crystallography in different field of science“. Federal minister of education, Mian Muhammad Baleegh-ur-Rehman addressed the science conference as chief guest and said that a new University will be established at Bahawalpur which will be named Bahawalpur institute of science and technology. In which four departments must be established including Nano Technology, Biotechnology, Food Technology and Solar Energy. He said due to modern science cancer’s treatment and HaemoPhilia with research on modern genetics. Discovering the treatment for such diseases. Federal minister of education said that three revolutions in world had occurred already. Now the 4th is at hand with the help of the national unity and technology. He also announced to establish a biology lab in Govt. Sadiq College Women University and he also said that due to the Govt. policies a large number of students are getting admit in the schools. Before it, chief organizers science conference, Director and professor Dr. SaimaAnjumdeparment of Chemistry, Professor Dr. ZafarIlyas, Professor Dr. GhazalaYasmeen Govt. college university Lahore, Professor Dr. Faiz-ul- Hassan Naseef Isalamia University Bahawalpur, Professor Dr. SadiqMajeedBaha-u-din zikriyaUnivesity Multan, Professor Dr. ShehzadChatha Govt. college university Faisalabad and the research scholar from Sindh University Jam-shoroAasmakanwal addressed the conference. Scientific posters have also displayed in 1st National science conference 49 lectures were delivered. At the end of conference Federal minister of education Mian Muhammad Baleegh-ur-Rehman and vice chancellor Professor Dr. TallatAfza awarded shields among participants.
