Bus and car collision occurred at Kot Samaba

  RAHIM YAR KHAN(By  Web DesK)Abus and car collision, six persons including a woman and three children died. Rescue 1122 officals confirmed the accident occurred near Kot Samaba in Rahim Yar Khan. Police said that a passenger bus, on the way to Sadiqabad from Rawalpindi, hit a car coming from the opposite direction near Chak 86/P. As a result, six persons, travelling in the car including a woman and three children died on the spot.
The unfortunate family belonged to Basti Warni, Taranda Sawaye Khan. They were to Layyah to attend a wedding and two men, three women and eight children were travelling in the car at the time of the accident. The injured were shifted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital through Rescue 1122, where condition there is stated to be critical.

VEHARI(By Abdul Waheed Butt)  The district and tehsil health councils are being provided requisite funds and modern equipment's for the uplift of healthcare across Vehari district, Deputy Commissioner Ali Akbar Bhatti said. Addressing a meeting of District Health Council here the other day, the DC said that all the hospitals across the district are being equipped with modern equipment. He informed that purchase of new equipment for Eye and Pathology Wards has been sanctioned. He said that at least 41 new doctors have been appointed at DHQ, THQ hospitals and Basic Health Units (BHUs) so that patients could get be treated at their hometown.
He informed that a Medical Specialist Emergency Officer (MSEO) has also been appointed at DHQ Hospital and Mailsi and Burewala THQ Hospitals.
MPAs - Mian Saqib Khurshid, Mian Irfan Aqeel Doltana and Assistant Commissioner Syed Asif Hussain Shah attended the meeting.

RPO Riffat Mukhtar Inspected Fortabbas circle

BAHAWALNAGAR(By Iqra Aziz) Regional Police Officer Riffat Mukhtar reviewed development work, front desk system and under-construction police facilitation centre, expressed satisfaction over the pace of work and appreciated the police performance. The RPO Inspected Fortabbas circle, and conducted a meeting at the DSP office. Raja directed to ameliorate the investigation process.
He directed to control the heinous crimes like murder, dacoity, gang-rape and acid attacks. He said that noose around the proclaimed offender be tightened and their properties be attached and also their aides be taken to task. Our prime duty is eradication of crime. Vigilant patrolling across the district be ensured. The protection of life and property of the people is police’s top priority, he said.
