The nations get magnificence through education:Prof Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq

Bahawalpur (By Abu Danish & Faisal Mushtaq): Prof Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has said that the nations get magnificence through education and this is exclusively through education. The teachers are the builders of nation and it is our duty as a nation to pay tribute to the teachers and make them our role model. WVC expressed these views in the Salam Teachers Day ceremony of University Model School. He said that the training of teachers and parents is extremely significant, especially the teacher who determines the path of our life and give us awareness about the religious and worldly knowledge. The role of teacher is very important. IUB is a very old educational institution of Southern Punjab and is benefiting this region for past many decades. Apart from higher education it is also running two secondary schools, one is in Baghdad ul Jaded Campus, University Model School and the other in the city University Public School. The university management is making efforts for the development of both the schools. Recently University Model School has been upgraded as secondary school, and for this purpose new class rooms and a latest computer lab have been added to the already existing structure. Similarly, the provision of teachers and other facilities have been planned. Both these schools will be very soon possessed the atmosphere and academic standard of the renowned schools, where apart from the children of university employees, the children of general citizens will also get benefit. The Vice Chancellor immensely praised the national songs, tableaus and skits presented by children. On this occasion school Principal Mrs. Shazia Alvi presented the school’s report and thanked the WVC for giving special consideration to the teachers, students and parents of the school.
