Our Bureau Chief) Provincial Minister for Labour and HR, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar has
said that sacrifices of martyrs of Army
Public School, Peshawar will not be wasted at any cost and
government would flush out the terrorism from the country with the help of its
brave citizens and security forces.
He stated this
at the ceremony of Special Children organized by Rawalpindi Arts Council in connection
with “Shuhada-e-Army Public School Peshawar
Week”. MPAs Lubna Rehan, Rahat Qudosi, PML-N Leaders Sardar Naseem, Dr. Nasir
Jamal, representatives of government departments, schools, colleges, teachers,
special children and parents attended the ceremony. The minister lauded the
efforts of Pak Army to end the menace of terrorism and extremism from country
and success of operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Sarwar said that purpose of this ceremony is to deliver the message to heirs of
the martyrs of APS that Pakistani nation is with them, sharing their tragic and
irreparable loss. Paying tribute to the principal Tahira Qazi, the minister
said during attack she had come out successfully from school, but went back
saying “My Children are in School”, embracing martyrdom. Raja Ashfaq Sarwar
said that this incident has united the whole nation against terrorism and it
backed the armed forces in their fight against terrorists. The children
presented tabloas, folk songs, poems, speeches, folk dances and national songs
at this occasion. The event was organized in collaboration with Punjab Special
Education Department. The minister said that more than 68 thousand special
children are getting education throughout Pakistan and its need of the hour
to encourage such children to become a useful part of society by creating
awareness among people to motivate parents of such children for their
education.
