LAHORE(By Our Bureau Chief)Prominent social welfare organization Alf Elaan working for promotion of education in the country has announced educational ranking of districts of different provinces of the country for the year 2016. This ranking is based on available facilities, access to education, standard of learning and gender equality in schools. Islamabad is at the top of the list consecutively for the fourth year on the basis of its educational score. Punjab is at the top of the list with regard to gender equality with a score of 95.18 percent while Islamabad is at the second position with a score of 94.82 percent while KPK is at the sixth position with a score of 75.96 percent. Punjab is also at first position with regard to school infrastructure while Islamabad and KPK are at the second and third positions. Districts of Punjab are still at top position in the ranking for this year. Six districts of Punjab are among the first ten positions while only one district of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa has been able to win position in the top ten rankings. No district of Punjab has scored less than 50 percent in the ranking of districts whereas the overall score of four districts of KPK has been below 50 percent. Basic facilities are available in 93 percent of schools of Punjab whereas these facilities are available in only 44 percent schools of KPK. There is boundary wall around 91.60 percent schools in Punjab while this figure is 76 percent in KPK schools. Islamabad is at number one, Azad Jammu & Kashmir at second and Punjab is at the third place in the ranking of provinces while Gilgit Baltistan is at the fourth place this year as well whereas KPK is at fifth and Sindh at sixth place. Federally administrated tribal areas (FATA) and Balochistan are at seventh and eighth place.

leader of PML-N and Member National Assembly Hamza Shehbaz has said
that political scenario cannot afford any upset those who doing negative
politics actually want to stop democracy and development in the
country. He added that present leadership heading with clear vision,
honesty and dedication while people are the best judge to gauge the
performance of the government in the next elections. While talking to
the students of Baluchistan, here at PML Secretariat, Hamza Shahbaz said
that as a true Pakistani, everyone should avoid provincialism and talk
about the whole beloved country. No doubt, youth is the guarantee of
prosperous future of Pakistan for which equal educational system and
employment and economic opportunities for youth were being created. On
the instructions of Prime Minister, special funds have been provided to
the less developed provinces of the country. Hamza Shahbaz said that Pak
China Economic Corridor would bring progress and prosperity in the
lesser developed areas of Pakistan and all provinces would be get new
prospects of relations with the Federation. He said that students of
Baluchistan, KPK and Gilgit-Bultistan were being provided best
educational opportunities in the Colleges and Universities of Punjab so
that they can put their due share in the national mainstream. Answering
the questions of the students, Hamza Shahbaz said that achievements of
present government of last three years were crystal clear and Insha
Allah by 2018 crisis of loadshedding would have been met and country
would attain progress and prosperity under the able leadership of Prime
Minister Mian Mohmamad Nawaz Sharif who has tried his best to fulfill
the promises.
In
the meeting, students of Baluchistan lauded the vision of the present
government and said that people are politically aware to reject the
negative politics. They said that future of Pakistan has to be decided
by the people and they would never trust on hollow slogans and baseless
allegations. They expressed hope that PML(N) would strengthen economic
and political system and every citizen would support it. They also
thanked Hamza Shahbaz for detail session and meeting with them.
