BAHAWALPUR(PR)District Health Department Bahawalpur has constituted as many
as 1631 indoor and 78 outdoor vector surveillance teams in connection with
anti-dengue campaign for all the Govt. offices during the Eid-ul-Fitar holidays
in District Bahawalpur declared in a meeting to finalize the arrangements for
3-day Anti-dengue Campaign which was presided over Executive District Officer
Health Dr. Shahid Khaleeq. The Meeting was attended by Medical officers,
paramedics and anti-dengue staff.
EDO health maintained that health department 1709 mobile and
fixed teams would mobilized all available resources to check the presence of
dengue causing larva and would ensure the complete elimination of the presence of larva by using state of
the art anti-dengue measures.
He further said that outdoor teams have been tasked to survey
different water pounds in all the five Tehsils of the District to check the
presence of dengue causing larva and especially constituted case response team
would rush to the spot where the dengue causing larva presence would be
reported and this team fully equipped to wipe out the detected larva.
EDO health has maintained that 3-day anti-dengue campaign
would largely help to keep Bahawalpur District dengue free through effective
victor surveillance survey teams during the 3-day holidays.
