Bahawalpur (PR) PML-N Leader Dr. Ayesha Abdullah has vowed that Punjab
government's massive allocation in the fiscal year 2016-17 of Rs. 207 billion and 300 million allocated for the
Health Sector would pave the way to provide state Art of the Health facilities
to 100 million citizens of Punjab. She made these remarks in a press statement,
here, today.
"Rs. 207 billion earmarked Health Sector is 60 percent
more to that of the budget allocations in the fiscal year 2015-16 which amply
reflects Chief Minister Punjab's dedication
and commitment to upgrade and modernizing the health care-system in
Punjab", she maintained.
Dr. Ayesha Abdullah said that Punjab Chief Minister's health
vision has been fully substantiated in the budgetary allocations which
envisions to maximize the fruits of health delivery system through fiscal
intervention in the important operational areas of the system which includes:-
Rs. 24 billion, 500 million for specialized health care; Rs. 5 billion, 200
million for restructuring of 36 DHQs and 15 Tehsils Headquarters; Rs. 14
billion, 74 million for provision of free medicines and Rs. 1 billion, 500
million for extending health insurance cover to the people of Punjab.
Dr. Ayesha Abdullah said that Chief Minister Punjab's a
historic and unprecedented Rs. 207 billion budgetary allocation would go a long
way to gear up health system to mitigate
the sufferings and pain of the ailing patents.

for the 35 posts of Saraiki Lecturers:Iqbal Channer

Iqbal Channer has said that Chief Minister Punjab has accorded special approval
for the 35 posts of Saraiki Lecturers which would serve as a major policy
instrument to promote the glorious Saraiki Culture and heritage in future.
Besides, necessary measures are underway to introduce Saraiki along with other
languages in the schools of Southern Punjab
from the next year. He was speaking as a Chief as a Chief guest at a
cultural ceremony "All Janobi Punjab Saraiki adbi-o- Sakafti Katth"
at Musafir Khana Bahawalpur on Saturday.
"Saraiki culture and
civilization has historic continuity of thousands of year whose intrinsic
cultural fabric is structured on the normative value system of peace and
prosperity which is compactable with the universal value system of liberalism
and progressivism", Minister channer maintained.
Mr. Channer further said that
government was planning to establish Khawaja Farid complex near Gulzar-e-Sadiq
which would serve as a great seat of learning to promote Saraiki culture
language, and Art.
The ceremony was also addressed by
Khuwaja Darija, prominent Saraiki intellectual Abida. The ceremony attended by
a large of people which includes:- Khawaja Muenu din Darija, Zahor dirja, Malik
kalo kaliyar and Abida Bokhari

Three officials of Union Council No.5
have been awarded penalty under the Peeda Act 2006 for misuse of authority and
tempering in the official record of the Union Council. Director, local
government has dismissed senior Clerk, Aabid Rasool under the Peeda Act 2006
and three years increments of Saif-ul-Rehman and Muhammad Farooq have been
stopped.The
three officials were found guilty in the illegal act of cancelling the Nikah
Perth of a lady complainant. The commissioner Bahawalpur has ordered the inquiry
into the matter on the complaint of Mrs. Iram daughter of Muhammad Arshed.

has arrested two accused Shahzaib and
Muhammad Shahzad who were found involved in One-Wheeling police station cant

Inspection team of Health Department
has destroyed 150 liters Adulterated Milk

(PR) An inspection team of Health Department
has destroyed 150 liters Adulterated Milk and has imposed fine to the tune of
Rs. 70,000/- upon the offenders of Pure Food Act in District Bahawalpur. The
Health Department's Focal person of Anti-Adulteration campaign, Dr. Zishan Rauf
conducted raids at 10 milk selling points and check the milk on the spot. The
tests were conducted through examination kites, found the presence of elements
of Urea and Formalin in the samples of milk. Resultantly, the inspection team
destroyed the milk and imposed fine upon the milk sellers who were found guilty
of selling adulterated milk.
