Shahid Faraz has claimed that the
pathological test to determine the Congo virus have been declared "satisfactory"
of all surgeons, doctors and paramedical staff of surgical wards of Bahawal
Victoria Hospital, Bahawalpur. Besides, special medical measures have been
taken to conduct clinical tests of blood screening of all doctors and
paramedics regarding Congo virus. This was stated by MS BVH Dr. Shahid Faraz in
a press briefing here on Saturday.
"Special arrangements have been made regarding
blood screening of under medical observation professor Dr. Gulzar Malik, his
son and six other patients who would be discharge from hospital as the profile
of blood platelets attains normalcy", MS BVH Dr. Shahid Faraz maintained.
He further said that the fumigation of emergency
operation theater No.1 has already been conducted and it would remain shut down
for a period of 16 days which is the estimated life cycle of the Congo virus.
Special medical teams of Doctors of GHQ and WHO's
medical experts would extend their medical expertise to BVH doctors to ensure
close screening and monitoring to wipe out the prevalence of Congo virus.
MS BVH Dr. Shahid Faraz said that medical experts have
conducted their medical inquiry which has established that the cause of death
of late nurse Nadia was the transmission of Congo virus from the animals of her
house. MS Dr. Shahid Faraz expressed deep sorrow over the sad demise of Dr.
Sagheer and paid rich tribute to his glorious services. He assured that
government would bear all expenditure regarding the medical treatment of Dr.
Awais who is under treatment at Agha Khan Hospital.

turn the CEPC vision into a living reality which would serve as a game changer
of global world order", Dr. Ayesha Abdullah maintained.
Dr. Ayesha Abdullah lauded that Chief Minister
Punjab's glorious services to bring closer PMLN and communist party of China at
a joint platform to boost the ongoing projects aimed at bringing progress and
prosperity for the people of Punjab.
Dr. Ayesha Abdullah further said that the "Low
Lying Fruits" of joint China Pakistan development ventures would harvest
fruits of peace, prosperity and progress for 100 billion of people of Punjab.
"46 billion dollar of Pakistan China joint
investment would get further boost through these 50 agreements and MOUs which
would usher in new vista of Pakistan China friendship which would turn
Pakistan's polity into an egalitarian state and society", Dr. Ayesha
Abdullah vowed.

BAHAWALPUR(PR)District government Bahawalpur has finalized a 14 days
Independence Day celebrations program which would start from 1st of August and
would culminate till 14th of August in district Bahawalpur. The Independence
Day celebrations program was finalized in a high level meeting which was
attended by heads of district departments in the committee room of DCO
Bahawalpur. DCO Dr. Ehtisham Anwer Mahaar chaired the meeting.
According to the finalized program, Independence Day
celebrations would commenced from 1st of August in which all district
departments, different NGOs and other relevant organizations would play their
role with national zeal and zest. The major feature of Independence Day
celebrations are include: - Speech and National Songs Competitions among
students, Lightening of medians from Farid gate to Circuit House Chowk Fawara,
Illumination of both public and private buildings and hosting of large size
National Flags at all prominent buildings.
DCO while addressing the meeting said that the main
feature of the Independence Day celebrations is staging an Independence Day
public parade after hosting of National flag on 14th of August, the parade
would start from Circular road which would end at Eidgaah. The participants of
the parade include: - Pak Army, Rangers, Police, Rescue 1122, Boys scouts of
various school and a large number of Citizens.
Independence Day parade would be accompanied by floats
of Cholistan development council which would depict the Cholistani culture.
Besides, Sports department has also devised a comprehensive program of
different sports events which would continue for 14 days.
DCO called upon district heads of all departments and
officials to play their role with dedication and commitment to celebrate the
Independence Day programs with missionary zeal.
The meeting was attended by Additional district
collector Mrs. Imrana Ajmal, District officer coordination Amjad Bashir,
Assistant Commissioner Bahawalpur city Rao Tasleem Akhter, EDO community
development, EDO education, Tehsil municipal officer and other officers and
officials of the concerned departments.

an anti-Congo virus drive by mobilizing 150 mobile teams of live stock and
dairy development department which have been engaged to vaccinate and treat
animals in district Bahawalpur. He issued these directions in a high level
meeting held in this regard at his committee room . The meeting was
attended by Additional district collector Mrs. Imrana Ajmal, DO live stock Dr.
Rab Nawaz Kosar, officers of live stock department and other officers and
officials of the concerned departments.
DCO noted that to wipe out the Congo virus at the
initial stage the 150 teams headed by veterinary Doctors and the relevant staff
should expand their operational network at the gross root level. He directed
that special teams should be posted at all entry points of district to
administer vaccination and treatment of the animals.
"Cholistan development authority would also be
actively mobilized by utilizing its logistic support to ensure deep outrage in
the Cholistan area", DCO noted.
