Thirteen member mass wrestling contingent has left for Kyrgyzstan

BAHAWALPUR(PR)A thirteen member mass wrestling contingent has left for Kyrgyzstan to participate in World NOMAD games 2016 which are starting from today. The Pakistani contingent is led by President, Mass wrestling federation, Pakistan, Syed Azhar Hassan. Over 400 athletes from around 19 countries are participating in the World NOMAD games 2016. The other members of Pakistani contingent include:- Secretary Pakistan Mass wrestling federation, Furqan Ahmad Khan, Secretary Punjab Mass wrestling federation Awn Raza Hashmi, Hafiz Sham-ud-Din and Arsalan Ahmad.


 DS&SJ Rehan Bashir paid a visit at Borstal Institute and Juvenile Jail Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR(PR)District and Session Judge, Bahawalpur, Rehan Bashir paid a visit at Borstal Institute and Juvenile Jail, Bahawalpur. During his visit, he inspected kitchen, dining hall and hospital of the jail. Later, He gave sympathetic hearing to the complaints and grievances of the inmate children and issued on the spot directions to resolve them

Punjab Government has earmarked special funds  to construct new roads and repair the existing road network to extend decent communication facilities to the Cholistani people:Iqbal Channer


BAHAWALPUR(PR)Provincial Minister for Cooperative & Chairman Cholistan Development Authority, Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channer has said that Punjab Government has earmarked special funds to the tune of Rs. 410 million which are aimed both to construct new roads and repair the existing road network to extend decent communication facilities to the Cholistani people residing in the 3 districts of Bahawalpur Division. He made these remarks while talking to the delegation of Cholistani people, here at his camp office.
"Chief Minister Punjab attaches special significance to provide better civic amenities to the Cholistani people which is practically reflected through these Rs. 410 million funds to further strengthen road infrastructure in Cholistan", the Minister Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channer maintained.
