Pakistan Mathematical Society organized 40th National Seminar in 10 universities simultaneously

BAHAWALPUR(PR)Pakistan Mathematical Society organized 40th National Seminar in 10 universities simultaneously through video link. Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor, University of Education, Lahore delivered an extensive lecturer on topic of “Adding meanings to the teaching/learning of Mathematics”. Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, president and founder Pakistan Mathematical Society thanked and appreciated him for delivering a well thought extensive lecturer. It is important to mention here that Pakistan Mathematical Society was founded in year 2000 in Islamabad. Within a year it became eligible to get itself registered as a scientific NGO with the Government of Pakistan and within a short period of time rated amongst 10 top such organizations by the Pakistan Council for Science and Technology. It organizes several regular activities and quarterly national seminar on Mathematics is one of such activities.

Legendary  &Senior Journalist Amjad Qurashi passes away

BAHAWALPUR(By Abu Danish)Legendary and Senior Journalist,Poet, Writer ,Columnist Amjad Qurashi Passed Away.He was of age of 87. His Journalist career was extended over a long period of 55 years. His sad demise is a great loss for local journalism of Bahawalpur.He left behind a Widow, 4 sons and 2 daughters. Daily "THE CLIMAX" Bahawalpur feels deeply sorrow over the sad demise of Amjad Qurashi .May his soul rest in peace Ameen.
