BAHAWALPUR(PR)A
special security contingent of 9301 police personnel was deployed on 10th
of Moharram-ul-Harram to extend fool proof security cover to 204 Azadari
processions and 83 Majalis-e-Aza in the three districts of Bahawalpur division.
The
204 Azadari processions have been categorized into three categories as per security
arrangements which include:- 25 Azadari Processions of 'A' category, 34 Azadari
processions of 'B' category and 145 Azadari processions of 'C' category.
Similarly, the 83 Majalis-e-Aza in the three districts of Bahawalpur division
have also been categorized into three categories. Keeping in view the security
arrangements which stands at: - 7 Majalis-e-Aza of 'A' category, 7
Majalis-e-Aza of 'B' category and 69 Majalis-e-Aza of 'C' category.
Bahawalpur
police would extend security cover to 204 Azadari processions by deploying a
special police security contingent of 9301 in the three districts of Bahawalpur
division which include:- 3113 security personnel for Bahawalpur district, 2812
police security personnel at district Bahawalnagar and 3376 police personnel at
district Rahim Yar Khan.
To
extend security cover on 10th of Moharram-ul-Harram 8189 police
personnel have been tasked to extend security cover to 84 Majalis-e-Aza which
include:- 2590 police personnel for district Bahawalpur, 1818 police personnel
at district Bahawalnagar and 3781 police personnel at district Rahim Yar Khan.
The
special police contingent to ensure fool proof security cover has been
constituted by availing the services of special police and police personnel
along with FC, PQRs and other law enforcement agencies.

in the three districts of Bahawalpur division on 9 th and 10 th of
Moharram-ul-Harram. Fool proof security arrangements and extensive municipality
services were extended for the smooth running of Azadari Majalis and
processions in Bahawalpur division.
