     It is largest living desert of Pakistan. Chholistan is a creedal of precious desert. It is a land of desert.

The way of living of Cholistani people is somewhat of nomadic or semi –nomadic type and painful thing is which I feel that they always move for water and pastures in abundance for their animals. They have very beautiful and different cultures. The Seraiki language is dominating there. Many Sufi poets and saints belong to this region such as Kahawaja Farid who wrote lot of poetry in Seraiki language and help the culture of this place to nature.Darawar Fort is a major land mark of Cholistan desert. The desert has an average rainfall of 5 inches a year and there is very little cultivation. It is wonder full place for the tourists but this area is facing many problems. Its area is 26300 square kilometer. It is connected to ‘Thar’ desert.cholistan is only a desert that exists in both Pakistan and India. This beautiful area is famous because of its embroidery which is specility.It’s biggest source of income is only cattle breeding. Around 1.6 million castles are found there.

                                                       In this beautiful area of Pakistan, people are facing lots of problems there. Such as, one of the problems, which they are facing, is electricity .Due to high costs of imported energy and difficult and expensive transportion, utilization of local sources of energy has been suggested, through wind power and solar radiation. Water is a major problem there. The average annual rainfall in the desert ranges from 100 to 200 mm. They need more fresh water. Now they are depending just on rainfall .There are no schools and universities. People needs modern life styles, new trends .They cannot send their children to schools and universities and cannot give them modern and new life style. There is no transport system. They cannot move or connect with other places. They have just life. We should provide them happy, successful competitive and lively life. They don’t have hospitals. They cannot save the lives of their sick and needy children. In huge quantity they have lost their family members.

There must be good ways of communication links. We should provide them telephones, television connections and internet connection to tell them what is life and how should we live it. We should build buildings of schools and universities so that they could send their children to get education. In the end we must provide them best water system because their business depends on water, to grow crops, give water to animals and to drink water. Cholistan should be given a status of District. Electricity from Quaid –e Azam Solar Park should be provided to Area of Cholistan. In the end it is my humble request to Govt that pay attention on them to give them prosperity in their life.
