                BAHAWALPUR(PR)Chief Justice Lahore High Court Lahore Mr. Justice Syed Mansood Ali Shah in recognition of the outstanding services of former Nawab of Bahawapur Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi the IV and his esteemed Abbasi dynasty for their glorious and splendid services rendered for the judiciary and welfare of the people has displayed the portrait of former Ruler of Bahawalpur state Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi the IV along with the portrait of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah at the judges' common room at Lahore High Court, Bahawalpur bench.
                Chief Justice Lahore High Court Lahore Mr. Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah inaugurated the sesquicentennial celebrations of Lahore High Court Lahore at Lahore High Court Bahawalpur bench. On this occasion, The Chief Justice Mr. Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah displayed the portrait of the former Ruler of Bahawalpur State Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi the IV at the judges' common room. Senior puisne Judge Mr. Justice Shahid Hameed Dar, Senior Judge of Lahore High Court Bahawalpur bench Mr. Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan and President of High Court bar Association Bahawalpur bench Nawazish Ali Peerzada were also present on this occasion.
                It is pertinent to mention that this is first time in the history of Lahore High Court Lahore that Chief Justice Mr. Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah and other judges of Lahore High Court Lahore have highly appreciated the services rendered by the Abbasi dynasty both at national and local level. This has been highly appreciated both by the lawyers' community and the people of Bahawalpur division.

Saqib Zafar has urged upon the concerned officials of Government hospitals to mobilize all available resources to maintain the high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
               BAHAWALPUR(PR) Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Saqib Zafar has urged upon the concerned officials of Government hospitals to mobilize all available resources to maintain the high standard of cleanliness and tidiness along with provision of free medicines to the patients and to ensure their presence at duty to extend decent health cover to the patients at government run hospitals in Bahawalpur Division. He issued these directions while presiding over a high level meeting of Medical Superintendents and the officials of the health department in a video link conference held at his conference room. The meeting was attended by DCO Rahim Yar Khan Captain (R) Zafar Iqbal, DCO Bahawalnagar Azhar Hayat, DCO Bahawalpur Dr. Ehtisham Anwer Mahar, Additional Commissioner Coordination Syed Waseem Hassan, Executive District Officers of the three districts of Bahawalpur division, officers of health department and other officers and officials of the concerned departments.
                "Effective measures to provide decent and effective health cover through the tangible consultation with the Health councils at all Tehsil Head Quarter Hospitals in Bahawalpur Division should be undertaken", Commissioner Saqib Zafar directed.
                The meeting was briefed that as many as 322 beds have been reserved to treat the dengue patients in the various hospitals of the 3 districts of the Bahawalpur Division which include: - 152 beds at district Bahawalpur, 64 beds at district Bahawalnagar and 106 beds at district Rahim Yar Khan. It was also informed that so far no case of dengue has been reported.
                The meeting was further briefed that as many as 52 new air conditions have been installed at various hospitals of the Division which include: - 31 air conditions at District Head Quarter Hospital Bahawalnagar, 15 air conditions at Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Bahawalnagar and 6 air conditions at Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Chishtian. Besides, as many as 133 old air conditions were repaired at the various hospitals of Bahawalpur Division which include:- 90 at District Head Quarter Hospital Bahawalnagar, 18 at Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Bahawalnagar and 25 at Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Chishtian. The meeting was also apprised of as many as 350 old hospital beds have been replaced with new beds along with the provision of 100 new bed sheets at District Head Quarter Hospital Bahawalnagar. Similarly, 700 new bed sheets at Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Chishtian and 300 at Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Bahawalnagar have also been provided.
DIG Jails Shaukat Feroz paid a visit at Central Jail Bahawalpur
               BAHAWALPUR(PR) Deputy Inspector General Prisons Multan Region Multan Muhammad Shaukat Feroz paid a visit at Central Jail Bahawalpur. He inspected as a convener of a committee formed by Inspector General Prison Punjab to inspect the quality of furniture manufactured at district ail Hafiz Abad. He highly appreciated the high quality of furniture.

                BAHAWALPUR(PR)District food committee Bahawalpur conducted raids at various places under its ongoing anti adulteration drive in district Bahawalpur. The district food committee under the supervision of Director District food committee & Additional District Collector Nausheen Malik conducted raids at 5 different food outlets, imposed a fine to the tune of Rs. 1 lac and 55 thousand, lodged an FIR in Police station civil lines against the violators of the Government rules and Bahawalpur police arrested 5 accused in this regard. The raiding party included: - Director Food Committee & Additional District Collector Nausheen Malik, Assistant Commissioner Bahawalpur city Rao Tasleem Akhter, District Officer Health Head Quarter & Focal person Dr. Zeeshan Rauf and the officers and officials of the police department.

               BAHAWALPUR(PR) A cultural ceremony was organized by Dil Noor Saraiki Adbi Sangat in connection with awarding Khawaja Farid literary and cultural award. Federal parliamentary secretary and MNA Mian Najeeb-ud-Din Awaisi was the Chief Guest on this occasion. The ceremony was addressed by MNA Mian Najeeb-ud-Din Awaisi, President Al Sadiq Desert Welfare Organization Riaz Baloch, DSP Sadar Circle Rao Jamshaid Ali Khan, Chaudhry Arshad Saleem, Ramzan Shah and Dr. Muhammad Nadeem Hanif. The speakers appreciated the endeavor of the organizer to promote art and culture.
