BAHAWALPUR(PR)A special ceremony to pay homage to the martyrs of
Army Public school Peshawar was held at Government Degree College for women
Dubai Palace road, Bahawalpur on Friday . The students and teachers held a
walk in connection with their 3 days long program. The participants walked
through various parts of the city. They carried banners carrying slogans to
applaud the sacrifices of the Army Public school martyrs.
National songs competition, Poster paintings competition
and speech competition were also held. In national songs competition Rizwana
Tabassum of 3rd year, Samreen Altaf of 2nd year and
Hafiza Hammas Qureshi of 3rd year secured 1st, 2nd,
and 3rd positions respectively.
In poster painting competition Ayesha Yousuf secured
1st position. Similarly, in speech competition Areeba Khan, Qandeel
Fatima and Farwa Malik secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
positions respectively.
1 day public awareness seminar regarding safe health of mother and child
BAHAWALPUR(PR) A one day public awareness seminar regarding safe
health of mother and child was jointly organized by population welfare
department Bahawalpur and population welfare training institute Lahore at
Tehsil Hasilpur, district Bahawalpur.
The seminar was addressed by District Population
Welfare Officer Syed Zeeshan Arif, Instructor of Population welfare training
institute Lahore Mrs. Ammara Yousuf and Deputy District Population welfare
Officer Dr. Hafsa Rehman. The speakers highlighted various issues regarding
safe health of Mother and Child and various measures undertaken by the
Population Welfare Department.

BAHAWALNAGAR (By Iqra Aziz) Inter district table tennis Punjab championship would
be held from 17th to 19th of December at Bahawalnagar.
The table tennis team of Bahawalpur would be lead by Irfan Peerzada while the
other players include: - Arshad Taskeen, Irfan Ali, Muneeb, Sadia Irfan
Peerzada, Shamshad Akhter and Sajida.

Satellite town Bahawalpur. Principal of the college Rabeea Yasmeen presided
over.
Various events including Essay writing, speech
competition and national songs competition were held. An English play was also
staged. Students presented their paintings and posters. Earlier, a walk was
also held which was lead by the Principal of college Rabeea Yasmeen.
