BAHAWALPUR(PR) Balloting ceremony was held to provide Laser leveling
units to the farmers and peasants having less than 12.5 acres of land by
extending subsidy to the tune of Rs. 46.8 million in district Bahawalpur.
Additional District Collector Mrs. Nausheen Malik supervised the balloting
process which was held at the office of Executive District Officer Agriculture
Bahawalpur.
The balloting ceremony was attended by Regional
Project Director Water Management Multan Manshad Ali, EDO agriculture Tanveer
Ahmad, DO Water Management Dr. Khalid Rafeeq, DO Planning Ubaid Rasheed,
officers of Agriculture department and a large number of farmers and peasants.
EDO agriculture Tanveer Ahmad briefed that meeting
that Government of Punjab would extend subsidy amounting to Rs. 4 lac and 50
thousand on each laser leveling unit.
