Ali Gillani has congratulated the Christian community on the auspicious day of Christmas.
In his message of felicitation on the eve of
Christmas, the Minister said that the whole nation fully shares the joys and happiness
of Christmas with their Christian brethren.
“Christmas is an occasion of delight & enjoyment,
and the Punjab Government fully shares their joys on this happy occasion. In
fact, Christians and other religious minorities are beautiful part of our
society, while the Government is fully committed to their well-being and
prosperity.”
The
Christian community has always played an important role in the development and prosperity
of the country. Their services in the fields of education and healthcare are
especially praiseworthy, he concluded.
