BAHAWALPUR(PR)Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Saqib Zafar has said
that land record management system has evolved a modern scientific mechanism
for resolving issues regarding cases of land mutation which has protected the
economic rights of the land owners. He made these remarks while presiding over
a high level meeting of the revenue officials of the 3 districts of Bahawalpur
Division through a video link conference at the conference room of Commissioner
Office, Bahawalpur. The meeting was attended by DCO Bahawalpur Dr.
Ehtasham Anwar Mahar, DCO Bahawalnagar Azhar Hayat, Additional District
Collector Rahim Yar Khan Jameel Ahmad, Additional Commissioner consolidation
Saqib Ali Ateel, Additional District Collector Bahawalpur Mrs. Nausheen Malik,
Assistant Commissioner General Syed Waseem Hassan, Assistant Commissioner
Bahawalpur city Rao Tasleem Akhter and other officers and officials of the
concerned departments.
"All Assistant Commissioners and officials of
the computerized land record centers should mobilize all available resources to
resolve cases pertaining to land mutation, cases of missing record of land
mutation and the cases of assigned share of revenue expeditiously",
Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Saqib Zafar noted.
Commissioner Saqib Zafar further directed the revenue
officers to take immediate measures to rectify the revenue record to protect
the economic rights of the land owners.
The meeting was briefed that during the last two
months as many as 221 cases of assigned share of revenue, 3894 cases of land
mutation and 481 cases of missing record of land mutation at District
Bahawalpur; 405 cases of assigned share of revenue and 3116 cases of land
mutation at District Bahawalnagar while 246 cases of assigned share of revenue,
2823 cases of land mutation and 634 cases of missing record of land mutation at
District Rahim Yar Khan were resolved.
