BAHAWALPUR(PR)Minister of State for higher education and interiors Engineer
Baleegh-ur-Rehman has said that Punjab Government has devised a comprehensive
program to impart state of the art training to the teachers which would pave a
way to modernize technical education system in the province. He made these
remarks while speaking at a certificate awarding ceremony at the concluding
session of two weeks long training program for 38 teachers which was organized
by TEVTA at Government staff training college Bahawalpur.
The certificate awarding ceremony was attended by Member
Board of Management TEVTA Jamshaid Karim Khan, Chairman Union Council Muhammad
Imran Maaz, Shahid Abdullah Chaudhry, Principal of institute Muhammad Javed
Chaudhry, Manager TEVTA Zahid Saeed, Trainer Rizwan Athar and teachers.
Minister of State Engineer Baleegh-ur-Rehman said
that Government has established Government staff training college at
Faisalabad, Lahore and Murree along with Bahawalpur to extend technical
training to teachers of technical education sector in the province which is a practical
reflection of Government's commitment to impart training to the teachers in the
province. He highly appreciated the initiative of the District Government
Bahawalpur to provide VIP cards to the teachers in Bahawalpur district. Later,
Minister of State Engineer Baleegh-ur-Rehman gave away certificates among the
trainee teachers of the training program.
