BAHAWALPUR(PR)A one day seminar was organized to raise public awareness
regarding serious health re-precautions on the eve of World Cancer day at
Bahawalpur Cancer Hospital. MPA Dr. Muhammad Waseem Akhtar was the
chief guest, while Prof. Dr. Farooq Ahmad and educationist Naseem Jafri were
guest of honor.
Dr. Waseem Akhtar urged upon the philanthropist to extend
financial assistance to the poor to get treatment for treatment of Cancer. He
further said that consistent effort should be made to raise public awareness
regarding treatment of cancer.
The Seminar was addressed by Dr. Farooq Ahmad, Director
Bahawalpur Cancer Hospital Dr. Shehab Fatimi, Senior Cancer Specialist Dr.
kokab Jabeen, Principal Medical Officer Dr. Robina Ali and Dr. Iftikhar Aalam.
The highlighted various causes and treatment of Cancer.
