7 days training workshop for students regarding photography and theatrical performance at Rashidia Auditorium Bahawalpur

                       BAHAWALPUR(PR) Seven days training workshop for students regarding photography and theatrical performance to revive splendid and glorious cultural heritage by engaging the youth of Bahawalpur region ended at Rashidia Auditorium Bahawalpur here on Sunday. The seven day workshops were jointly organized by Bahawalpur Arts Council and Interactive Resource Center.

                Chairman Bahawalpur Waste Management company Samiullah Ch. Was the chief guest at the certificate awarding ceremony while Director Public Relations Multan Ch. Tahir Mahmood, Abdul Khaliq Qureshi, Prof. Farooq Umar Khan was the guest of honor.

                The seven day’s workshop was aimed for imparting training to promote healthy, constructive and aesthetic culture of theatrical performance, Director IRC Muhammad Waseem and his team conducted various sessions with male and female students regarding various aspects of play, write, direction, production and acting. The students learned various aspects of Drama Production in the seven days long workshop. At the concluding ceremony three short plays of ten minutes duration having very delicate and constructive themes which include promoting interfaith harmony, pluralism and tolerance in society. Starting from script writing, acting and directing all aspects were performed by the participating students. They enthralled the audience by their performance.

                Similarly, at the seven day photography workshop male and female students were provided opportunity to learn the basic skills of camera utilization regarding still photography. Later, the trainees visited various parts of the city to as a part of their field training. They shooted different historical and cultural sites. At the concluding ceremony a display of the photographic work of the trainees was displayed. Later, at the concluding ceremony, Chairman Waste Management Company, Resident Director BAC Rana Ajaz Mahmood, DPR Multan Ch. Tahir, Abdul KhaliqQureshi, Prof. Basit and other gave away certificates among the participants of the training workshop. The trainees hailed from various academic institutes which include: Islamia University, Govt. Post Graduate College and others. Dr. Shahzad Rana conducted the ceremony. A large Number of art lovers attended the ceremony.
