BAHAWALPUR(PR) Deputy
Commissioner Bahawalpur Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal has directed Medical
Superintendent of Civil Hospital Bahawalpur to streamline medical facilities on
modern lines to ensure decent medical cover to the patients. He issued these
directions during a surprise inspection of the Civil Hospital Jhangi Wala road,
Bahawalpur, on Monday . Principal Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Professor Dr.
Ajlal Haider Rizvi, Medical Superintendent Dr. Rana Muhammad Yousuf and other
officers and officials of the concerned departments were also present on this
occasion.

DC Rana Saleem Afzal has directed MS Civil Hospital Bahawalpur to streamline medical facilities on
modern lines to ensure decent medical cover to the patients
"Computerized
call numbers should be issued to the patients to get themselves examined by the
concerned doctors through systematic mechanism at the hospital", Deputy
Commissioner Bahawalpur Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal directed.
During
inspection Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur inspected various facilities and
departments of the hospital which include:-
Sterilized section, Pathological laboratory, fluoroscopy, city scan,
digital X-ray section, store of medicines and inquired about the operational
profile and efficiency of these facilities. He directed Medical Superintendent
to ensure all diagnostic facilities, supply of medicines and state of the art
health cover of the patients both at outdoor and indoor facilities of the
hospital.
During
the inspection Medical Superintendent civil hospital briefed the visiting
Deputy Commissioner about various facilities provided to the patients at
hospital. He further said that as many as around 3 thousand patients are
provided all type of diagnostic facilities, medicines and medical cover at
hospital daily.
