Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur has imposed a ban to chop off trees and cutting of bushes in the Cholistan area U/S 144

                       BAHAWALPUR(PR)  Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal has imposed a ban to chop off trees and cutting of bushes in the Cholistan area under section 144 in the revenue limits of District Bahawalpur. This ban has been imposed to protect wild life in general and Houbara in particular. This order comes into effect immediately.

Punjab spatial strategy workshop held

                       BAHAWALPUR(PR)  The collective societal wisdom, guidance and practical collaboration by activating the practical participation of all stake holders in devising modern policy paradigm framework and its execution is vital in a modern society in ensuring sustainable developmental mechanism. The intellectual and technical guidance of newly formed urban units would boost the pace of development work by synchronizing development projects with the socio cultural values of the area. This was maintained by the speakers at an introductory Punjab spatial strategy workshop held, on Thursday.

                                The workshop was addressed by Mr. Faisal Farid, public representatives and various Government officials. Director Development and Finance Mrs. Imrana Ajmal presided over the proceedings.

                                "The Urban unit would play as a vanguard by providing guidance in formulating policy framework for devising state of the art developmental vision and its execution to extend state of the art socio physical infra-structure", Director Development and Finance Mrs. Imrana Ajmal noted.
