Pakistan Day was celebrated in Bahawalpur Garrison with zeal, zest and fervor

BAHAWALPUR(By ISPR)Pakistan Day was celebrated in Bahawalpur Garrison with zeal, zest and fervor. Day started with Quran Khuwani and thanks giving prayers in all mosques for country’s prosperity and success in the comity of nations. Public and private buildings were illuminated at night and Pakistan flag was hoisted on all important buildings.

            Later in the day major military weapons / equipments were displayed on stalls in Noor Mahal Stadium. National songs played by military band added flavor to the day. Eye caching event horse and camel riding was also arranged for families and children.

While concluding the event in the evening Corps Commander Bahawalpur Lieutenant General Sher Afgun HI, (M) appreciated the organizers for arranging such an eventful ceremony to celebrate Pakistan Day. The ceremony was attended by Army officers, their families, media personnel and notables of the area as well.
