Laptops caught fire at main auditorium at Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus in IUB

Bahawalpur(By Nadia Mahmood)University spokesman has said that around 200 laptops had been stored in a room at main auditorium at Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus, caught fire previous morning. It is important to mention there that these laptops were not kept for the purpose of distribution among students. According to initial investigations laptops caught fire due to burst in batteries. Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor and senior university officials including deans immediately rushed to the spot while estate care and security staff started fire control. Rescue 1122 fire brigade also reached. The Vice Chancellor has directed a high level committee to investigate the cause of the incident.
