administrative and fiscal matters in Ghazi University:Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq
BAHAWALPUR (PR) Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice
Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Ghazi University Dera
Ghazi Khan has said that concrete steps have been taken to streamline academic,
administrative and fiscal matters in Ghazi University. He expressed these views
while talking to faculty members and senior officials during a meeting in his
office. He said that the meeting of academic council was held first time to
regulate academic and research activities at University paving the way for a
proper academic schedule. Similarly, boards of studies have been established to
standardize syllabi ensuring compatibility with policies of Higher Education
Commission and other regulatory bodies. Meeting of finance and planning
committee was held first time in the university to approve fiscal budget of the
current year as well as budgets of last two years. He added that measures have
been taken to institutionalize university matters according to rules and
regulations to make Ghazi University functional as other high ranking
universities in the country. The federal and provincial governments both are
generous in providing funds and other necessary support to streamline matters
at Ghazi University. It is pertinent to mention here that after the assuming additional
charge of Vice Chancellor of Ghazi University since last June, Prof. Dr. Qaiser
Mushtaq has taken various steps to streamline academic and administrative
affairs of the university aligning with short term, medium and long term
strategies to make it a successful higher education institution in the region.

farewell ceremony was held on the eve of retirement of District Accounts
Officer Rahim Yar Khan Malik Munir Kulyar. The ceremony was organized
by Welcon development organization. The ceremony was presided over by former
Deputy Auditor General of Pakistan Malik Allah Bukhsh Kulyar. The ceremony was
attended by Allah Bukhsh Kulyar Madni, Sobaydar Yar Muhammad Kulyar, Hafiz
Anees, Professor Asghar Kulyar, Advocate Shah Nawaz, Malik Waheed Kulyar, Prominent
Columnist Malik Amjad Kulyar and a large number of civil society
representatives and citizens.
Malik
Allah Bukhsh Kulyar while speaking on the occasion paid rich tribute to the
splendid marvelous services of Malik Munir Kulyar who performed his duties with
professional commitment and dedication.
Malik
Allah Bukhsh Kulyar said that his services would be remembered long which would
be cherished with pleasure and pride by his colleagues.
Seminar on the topic of "Peace, tolerance and harmony"

one day seminar on the topic of "Peace, tolerance and harmony" was be held at Rashidia Auditorium Bahawalpur Art
Council Bahawalpur. The seminar has been jointly organized by Directorate of
Public Relations Government of the Punjab Bahawalpur Division Bahawalpur and
Bahawalpur Art Council Bahawalpur.
This
seminar has been organized under the directions of Government of Punjab.
Prominent personalities from different walks of life would address the seminar.

BAHAWALPUR (PR) A
farewell ceremony was held on the eve of retirement of two officials: Senior
Clerk Muhammad Tufail and Driver Berkat Ali of Directorate of Public Relations
Bahawalpur at Regional Information Office Bahawalpur, on Saturday.
The
ceremony was presided over by Director Public Relations Rana Ajaz Mahmood. The
ceremony was attended by Deputy Director Nasir Hameed, Information Officers:
Syed Abid Hassan Rizvi and Nauman Masood Khan, Ghulam Asghar, Dr. Nadeem
Naseem, Fazal Mahmood, Allah Ditta Malik, Anees Ahmad Khan, Saleem Hussain,
Riaz Hussain Bhutta and other officials of the information department.
Director
Public Relations Rana Ajaz Mahmood paid rich tribute to the splendid services
of these two officials who served with great dedication and commitment during
their more than three decades long service career. He said that their services
would be remembered long which are precious asset of this department.
